Canyon Dancer
This image was taken in Alta Dena, CA, with a large format (4×5 inch) negative camera. The woman is my best friend from college, and we photographed each other that day in the canyon for a school assignment “figure in a landscape”. The dry creekbed, rocks, and plants all give superb texture for this gentle image of a dancer.
